We left three feet of snow and Christmas lights at our house in
the Reno/Tahoe area and arrived in the Tahitian Islands
just before the new year.
After spending a few days sleeping off our jet lag in a beach bungalow overlooking the water at the Meridien Hotel,
we flew to the island of Bora Bora where we stayed at the
