We started our journey after Christmas 2001 with a plan to travel the world for approximately one year.  We purchased around the world airline tickets through Star Alliance and these tickets take us to a number of geographic regions.  We returned home in December 2002.  The following is a list of regions we visited during our world tour 2002:
