Our five star golf tour of New Zealand began on January 12th, when we met up
with 14 people (mostly members of the Montreux golf club) at the Auckland
airport. The itinerary included seven rounds of incredible golf, wonderful
sightseeing, great lodging, a river jet boat ride and a helicopter tour to the
area where Lord of the Rings was filmed.
The first destination on our tour was the world famous Huka Lodge in
the middle of the North island.
After playing a couple of fantastic rounds of golf at Wiareke Golf Club, we traveled
to the South island to visit Queenstown, the
outdoor adventure capital of the world and the birthplace of bunging jumping.
Once we completed the golf tour on the South Island, we headed North to
Kauri Cliffs, an amazing resort with a Pebble
Beach like course overlooking the Bay of Islands. We completed our tour at
Tittarangi and the Auckland Golf Club.
