Our guide "Thai"

Thai spent four days with us and showed us a great time. His English was superb

Cambodia's kids

These four young children were among the poorest we saw on our trip.

Kids Surround Chris

We found kids at every temple site we visted and they were all selling small items hoping tourists would give them some money

Guide in training?

This young girl followed us in one of the temples and we gave her a few pieces of candy

Fish Market

These people sit on a dirty floor cleaning fish. The conditions are highly unsanitary and the smell was excruciating

Baldies

We found these two women in front of Angkor Wat and they allowed us to snap their picture and didn't even ask for money

Monk with Cigarette

This 30 yr. old man has been a monk since he was 13

Family Transport

It's commom to see entire families like this one riding on motorbikes. We once saw six people riding on one small scooter

Naked Boy

Fish sauce is being made in the background

Something Smells Fishy

This girl of about 12 sits most of the day and chops up fish to produce fish sauce for export

Outdoor shower

We caught this father and his two sons getting cleaned up towards the end of the day. Many people get cleaned up in the dirty river so it was nice to see they had some well water

River Boy

Village kids

Despite the unsanitary conditions in the village, most children seemed very happy and oblivious to the terrrible conditions

Slingshot Kid

This young boy was using his slingshot to try and kill a bird for dinner

Cool Kid

This kid loved our digital camera and enjoyed having his picture taken. He was very small and looked about 8 years old but was really 13.

Mob scene

This was a typical scene when we arrived to tour a temple

Sisters

The kids in Cambodia are beautiful, just like these two sisters
